第24章 权势如烟云过眼 奸邪无事生非

Power and influence are floating clouds;an evil man makes trouble out of nothing.

权势之徒，虽至亲亦作威福，岂知烟云过眼，已立见其消亡；奸邪之辈，即平地亦起风波，岂知神鬼有灵，不肯听其颠倒。

今文解译

拥有权势的人即使对身边最亲近的人也作威作福，殊不知手中的权势只不过是转眼即逝的烟云而已。

奸诈邪恶的人即使没事也会惹是生非，殊不知神鬼其实也是有灵魂感知的，不会任凭他们胡作非为。

English Translation

The man of power and influence even lord it over his kinsfolk,unaware that the power and influence he possesses now are only the smokes and clouds which will disappear at any time.

A crafty,evil man even makes trouble out of nothing,not knowing that the ghosts and spirits are all sharp-eyed enough to perceive his scheme and will not let him run wild willfully.
